Defending my peace and elks
In times of doubt and sadness I unite with species that are coming to extinct. Hoping to leave Earth forever and move to a better place. The peaceful reflection of the natural order of things arises. This is the cosmic plan to our Planet and that's the way it is. Realizing the end at first might cause stress but than there is a happy feeling and awarness. Change is the only constant aspect of our reality. The cosmos is not deteriorating and we all are one coming together.
However… the end is not in our agenda yet and it would be
nice to stay on this planet as long as possible with all it’s amazing creations
such as European Elk (in Polish: łoś). This huge animal that lives in Polish
forests can reach 2.1 meters and can live up to 25 years. The subject became
hot in Poland when the shady project of new sustainable hunting was introduced
in August 2017.
During historical times European Elk came to the point of
extinction in Eastern Europe. After Second World War European it became
endangered in Poland and starting 1952 was protected. In 1967, when population
was about 600 individuals, the “sustainable hunting” was established. However as
being explained by demands of forest protection, as causing significant damages
in young-growth forests the population was reduced by over 70% and no hunting
is allowed since 2001. Today the future of European Elk in Poland lays in “the
strategy for moose protection and management” being prepared by a team of
scientists, National Forest Holding and Polish Hunting Association. You can
